About the opportunity 

The Faculty of Health Sciences is relocating the entire Cumberland campus to a new purpose-built building at Camperdown campus in 2020. The Relocation Program consists of a number of projects to support the exit from the Cumberland campus, and the planning for operational readiness in the new building. The Project Administrator performs day to day tasks associated with the provision of project management and project administration to support a number of projects within the Program. The Administrator provides administrative support for the implementation of activities and projects to support the Programs objectives. This includes assisting with the management and coordination of projects, sourcing information, setting up meetings and workshops, supporting the change and communication strategies and undertaking hands on work to support the delivery of the program. 

About you

• Certificate qualifications and/or relevant work experience, preferably in project administration
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent administrative skills, coupled with a general understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies
• A “hands on” attitude and willingness to undertake a broad range of activities to support the delivery of the project work.

Experience in the higher education/tertiary sector and in office or building relocation is highly desirable.
