About the opportunity
The Lecturer (Data Analyst) will work with a team of researchers at the UCRH to: provide epidemiological, statistical and data management advice for a range of health research projects in both design and analysis phases; provide statistical advice and training to higher degree students, clinicians and researchers; conduct statistical analysis for research and evaluation studies; write up research results, prepare research papers and reports for publication; support research translation activities; develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with University data management policies, and; apply for research funding in collaboration with other researchers.

The University Centre for Rural Health (UCRH), with campuses in Lismore, Murwillumbah and Grafton, provides a supportive and cooperative educational environment, exceptional teaching facilities and close, affordable accommodation. A network of relationships, including state and private hospitals, GP practices and private specialist practices, allied health and Aboriginal medical services, combine to give students excellent patient, allied health and doctor access across a breadth of patient scenarios, all within an accessible team of medical and allied health professionals and administration staff.
UCRH is part of the Faculty of Medicine and delivers placements and education to long and short-term medical students from the universities of Sydney, Western Sydney, and Wollongong. It also delivers an Allied Health education program, and supports rural allied health placements for students of these 3 institutions, Southern Cross University and a number of other Australian Universities. It aims to afford students excellence in medical and allied health education as well as the benefits of a rural lifestyle to encourage graduates to return to live and practice in rural and remote Australia.
