  • Remuneration package: $119,425 p.a. (which includes a base salary $100,915 p.a., leave loading and up to 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation).

About the opportunity 

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is the University’s central IT department and is responsible for keeping the University connected through continuously improving the reliability and effectiveness of its information and communications technology. ICT is responsible for ensuring the University realises technology-enabled change by developing strong partnerships with educators and researchers; using existing and emerging technologies innovatively throughout the University; and cultivating communities and forums for educators, researchers and students to collaborate and share their technology innovation within the University.

About you

We are currently seeking to appoint a Clinical Trials Consultant – Research, to work closely with the Director Research Integrity and the ICT Program Manager (Research).  You will supports and drive the delivery of Clinical Trial Management and Data Capture Systems through combined Research Portfolio and ICT initiatives. You will:

  • manage overall project organization and establishment
  • manage the development and implementation of project plans to meet objectives
  • develops and embed project governance and reporting framework to monitor implementation, progress and delivery of the project
  • manage project stakeholders and collaborate with project teams to ensure that project deliverables and milestones are achieved.

  • demonstrated relevant experience in the conduct or governance of clinical trials, and/or extensive experience in an equivalent regulatory environment preferably with experience in project management and managing complex projects
  • ability to translate ICH GCP requirements for sponsors, sites and researchers, specifically how they apply to clinical trials systems
  • sound understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, cost, risk, procurement and integration
  • managing a diverse group of key internal/external stakeholders on large or complex projects
  • expert understanding of research data management issues with patient identifiable and other sensitive data
