About the role
Biotext is looking for an early career science writer and editor to join our expert team. Biotext turns complex information into effective content. We partner with our clients on their scientific, technical or complex content to develop products such as fact sheets, reports, guidelines and websites.
Your main duties will be writing, substantive editing, copyediting and proofreading. You’ll also manage projects and communicate with clients to solve problems and identify opportunities. You'll work on a variety of projects and tasks, and be supported by our detailed procedures to ensure quality and consistency. Our team of specialists will work closely with you to help build your skills.
Hours: 0.8 to full time (flexible working hours available)
Salary: $76,000 to $84,000; negotiable based on qualifications, experience and skills
Start date: July 2024
Location: Canberra (preferred), but we may consider other locations within Australia for the right person
